Our location

This is the view from our window. You can see our goat--"Goat",--and our dog, Lucy. The view is from our living room window on a rainy day. The paddock behind those two animals often has a horse or two in it, and often Harry the donkey as well.

Here is another view of Goat. He wants to come in.

  1. Well it looks like blogs it is...

I see you know how to put a picture into play, and now I feel challenged to make it happen on my blog too...

The pictures are great, and I think the name "Goat" for a goat is incredibly original...

  2. Hello!! Sheila, how are you? So nice to keep in touch but I must say it's a bit challenging to those of the family in the "over 60" bracket! Ha ha ha...
"Goat" looks very well fed! I love goats..
How are the boys? It's hard to believe we're heading for November already..
I just ret'd from 2 weeks in Palm Springs - nice place, but after awhile, the everyday "sunniness" of the place started to get to ma. Boring..
Oh, gosh, as an English major, was I supposed to change the Y to an I or leave it? Sheesh!
    Love,
    A.M.

  3. Well, I managed to get a picture on my site, but it shows up separated from the running comments section...

Complicated, but what the hey... there's a workaround.

As far as giving Chris a birthday present - who could ask for anything better than what I came up with? At least for a while nobody will have to worry about me showing up at their door...

    Pony, huh?

    sheesh...

  4. Hey, Sheila...

I'm responding just so I can see what happens when I try.

So far everything I expect to happen turns out to be wrong, so I'm commenting this time in a way that makes sense to me to see if it shows up where I think it should...

    Oh well... Here goes...

  5. OK... I think I get it now...

When you put something on your blog (if you do it right) it winds up as the front page...

When somebody comments, it gets tacked into the comments section...

Talk about old dogs and new tricks... This is about as complicated as I feel like dealing with any more...
